Heat pumps pay their own way.

Heat pumps are available at a nominal additional cost. In many locales, the payback is realized in just a few months. Indoor air quality is vital to allergy relief, overall good respiratory function, and general health.

In hot weather, heat pumps provide indoor comfort in the same manner as conventional air conditioners, removing heat and humidity from indoor air. The heat and humidity is released to the outdoors. Their high efficiency design saves energy and reduces cooling costs.

In cool weather, the heat pump draws heat from outdoor air and uses it to heat indoor air. Since heat is transferred and not produced, the heat pump uses less electricity and reduces energy costs significantly.

Also did a furnace check and cleaning and suggested that I have the air ducts cleaned - they REALLY needed it..

He made every effort to not sell me something I didn't need, and in so doing brought my project in well under the budget I had established. Working with Gene is an anachronism -- a throwback to the days when the contractor was truly working in the interest of the customer. He modified my filter box at no charge, and is coming back to do a "touch up" to the box to make it even better. A real joy to work with and someone I would recommend hands-down to anybody!

They did a fantastic job replacing my 47-year-old(!) furnace and all the retrofitting involved--and always with a very friendly and positive and even humorous attitude. They are extremely knowledgeable, and efficiently resolved any obstacle they encountered in this challenging project. The price was much lower than I expected, and I was not charged extra for all the extra work involved. I am not comfortable with "strangers" in my home, but I was instantly put at ease by their kindness and their gracious attitudes. They were very professional and hard-working.
